To connect the El Limón gold ore pit with the processing plant it was necessary to overcome an altitude difference of approx. 400m in steep terrain. Minera Media Luna, S.A. de C.V. (MML), 100% owned subsidiary of Torex Gold Resources Inc., opted for the RopeCon® by Doppelmayr Transport Technology as a means of transport. Along with other aspects, safety and environment were key considerations in prompting the decision. The system transports 1,000 metric tons of gold ore per hour into the valley over a distance of 1.3km. (Published on YouTube on May 9, 2016)

Cintasa was founded in 1973, and in 1979 the company was constituted as a PLC.
The main activity of Cintasa centres in the engineering, production and installation of handling, transport and warehousing element systems. Our wide range of conveyors is based on diverse systems such as: belts, rollers, chains, metal plates, buckets, etc. Moreover, we incorporate distinct auxiliary elements in our installations, which could be: galleries, silos, hoppers, structures, etc.
This specialization in the field of conveyors and in all its variants for more than 35 years has given Cintasa the necessary experience to be able to offer the client the best solution to each requirement. (published on YouTube on July 28, 2015)

Misalignment of the conveyor belt is a frequent cause of material loss in conveyor systems. Belt centering stations can detect this and correct it. The latest such system in Flexco’s product range is the PT Pro EZ. One special feature is that the belt guide roller is polyurethane-coated as standard. This increases the service life and gives it better traction when moist. Competitors usually only offer this at extra cost.
Operators of conveyor systems in coal mines or underground mines need to keep their belts as clean as possible. The best results are usually achieved with a combination of pre-cleaners and secondary cleaners. With the FMS, Flexco has a secondary cleaner for medium-duty applications in its range. This is designed such that it achieves optimal cleaning performance together with a long life.
Do conveyor systems meet the required standards and can processes even be improved?During an audit, Flexco‘s specially trained staff not only inspect the conveyors and verify conformity, but also identify possible areas of improvement. They trace the four main causes of possible problems along the length of the conveyor system – material carry back, belt misalignment, material loss and belt slip – and recommend technical solutions for rectifying them, even in the case of components from other suppliers. In this way, the user can increase his system productivity.
The Jim Way 3D tracker roller, which employs highly effective tracking action, quickly ensures the belt alignment. In addition, the diamond groove rubber on the surface of the part sheds water and residues from belt.
